My name is Salvador Pinedo, and I grew up in South Central Los Angeles in my family’s upholstery business. From an early age, I was surrounded by fabrics, leather, craftsmanship, and production. While I appreciated the trade, I was always drawn to the artistic side of creating.
Today, working alongside my family in North Carolina’s upholstery industry, I have the opportunity to combine those influences. Using carefully selected fabrics and hides, I create pillows as art.
Each piece in my collection is one of a kind. The unique character, texture, and natural markings of every hide guide the creative process, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. Through my work, I aim to celebrate both the craftsmanship of upholstery and the beauty of artistic expression.
